Victoria García was born in Mexico City but was raised in the mountains of Colorado for 18 years. She feels extremely proud of her Mexican heritage and of having the privilege of being bilingual and bicultural. Victoria graduated from Metropolitan State University in 2014 where she received her BA in Communications and Broadcasting.
Currently, Victoria runs her own business, Apapacho Cacao @apapacho_cacao where she shares the magic and benefits of raw cacao with the general public and she's also the founder of Latinas Who Dare, @latinaswhodare, an organization whose mission is to help Latinas close their own wage gap with the funds that they generate from their own business.
Victoria has been married for 11 years with her best friend, and business partner, Jeff. They share a son Liam, who will be 10 years old in two months.
Victoria is committed to helping other Latinas maximize and leverage their potential. Victoria's mission is to liberate and elevate Latinas in the eyes of the world.
If you know of any Latina-owned business in Colorado that we could feature in the upcoming weeks, please tag them in the comments below.
